I was surprised to find that species
in that habitat. But I have seen all the variations of Oncopeltus sanguineolentus in populations in Phoenix and this one was among them. I have never seen the other species being all red and black. I'll pull up some more images from the verified Phoenix population for comparison. Who would be our Lyg. expert?
