wasp - Leptogenys elongata

wasp - Leptogenys elongata
Austin, Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center, Travis County, Texas, USA
May 14, 2015
Size: about 1 cm
This looked like an ichneumon or braconid at first glance, but the antennae are wrong. I've looked through some of the more obscure families, but just cannot find a match. Help is very much appreciated!

Maybe Rhopalosomatidae?
The big ocellar triangle reminds me of some of the Guide's Rhopalosomatid photos--like this one: .

Oh gosh!
Is this a male Leptogenys elongata? I'd looked through ants (because of the very feature you mentioned) and didn't find it. Because you drew attention to it, I noticed that it has just ONE node, which made me think of the tribe ponerini. Thank you for your patient guidance.

This is as close as I could get

I'll be interested to see where this one lands.
