Wolf Spider den - Geolycosa - female

Wolf Spider den - Geolycosa - Female
Fillmore, Andrew County, Missouri, USA
May 16, 2015
Size: 1 inch tall
I found this odd little "nest" today with a wolf spider hiding out inside. Has anyone ever seen a wolf spider build anything like this, or did some other arthropod build it and the spider is using it? I could not get a great picture of the spider because each time I moved to take a picture she darted into the hole. She had an egg sac attached to her abdomen and orangish colored chelicerae.
