Rutelinae scarab - Phyllophaga

Rutelinae scarab - Phyllophaga
Miami, Dade County, Florida, USA
May 1, 2015
Size: .75"
Rather large scarab on a bromeliad. Looks a bit like the grapevine beetle (Pelidnota punctata), but not glossy, and the elytra are very pitted/dimpled.

Phyllophaga sp. (Melolonthinae, not Rutelinae)
