Dolichovespula maculata queen on tiny nest - Dolichovespula maculata - Female

This tiny nest was found under the eave of a garage. The queen was undisturbed by my camera and seemed to ignore me completely. The nest consists of just two cells, and construction of the outer envelope has not yet started.
