Moth - Dasychira - Female
Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, USA
May 18, 2015
Size: 1 inch
With eggs, so need species for host plant

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

.
This moth is one of the Lymantriidae (Tussock) family in the Dasychira Genus. I might think either D. basiflava or a D. obliquata.

It looks like most of the genus will feed on Oaks.

Leaving it in ID request incase someone else can ID to species.
