Red Mite - Trombidium

Red Mite - Trombidium
Aberdeen, Harford County, Maryland, USA
April 2, 2007
On concrete, the only place you can ever see the little suckers.

Moved
Moved from true velvet mites.

Red Velvet mite
Definitely one of the red velvet mites, but I'm not sure if I can get you further than superfamily Trombidioidea, probably Trombidiidae. Maybe a mite expert can take it to a further classification.
