Pristiphora bivittata? - Pristiphora bivittata

Pristiphora bivittata? - Pristiphora bivittata
Merrimack, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
May 22, 2015
Found on a cultivated Spiraea. Same species as this which I found a few years ago, which was never ID:

When disturbed it would curl into an S-shape.

Moved
Moved from Pristiphora.

This perfectly matches the description of bivittata, and it is the only North American Pristiphora known to feed on Spiraea. Prous et al. (2017) list only Filipendula, Geum, and Rubus as hosts for P. pallidiventris.

Pristiphora sp. at least
may be P. bivittata but there are several species on Spiraea.
For example, P. pallidiventris also looks like.
