Ichneumon Wasp - Rhyssa alaskensis

Ichneumon Wasp - Rhyssa alaskensis
Cape Disappointment, Pacific County, Washington, USA
May 23, 2015

Moved
Moved from Rhyssinae.

The combination of a spotted abdomen and black posterior orbits should narrow it down to this species alone.

Moved
Moved from Ichneumonid Wasps.

Noting the strongly striated mesoscutum, which won't occur in Pimplinae.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.
