Little Wood Satyr - Megisto cymela

Little Wood Satyr - Megisto cymela
Norris City, White County, Illinois, USA
May 25, 2015
Size: Approx. 1 inch tall
I saw this butterfly in my backyard yesterday and thought I recognized it. But, when I got to looking closer at the picture, it didn't resemble any of the others that I'd catalogued for my area. I also couldn't find it in the Butterflies of Illinois guide book, either. Anybody recognize it? The only other butterflies I've seen that are close to it was a Southern Pearly Eye and an Appalachian Brown, and it doesn't look like either.

I was thinking it might be in that family, because I have a lot of Gemmed Satyrs in my backyard as well and they resemble each other. Thanks a lot for identifying it for me! I have changed the title of this post to reflect the correct name.
