Good point Roger

I started a new book on the Maccaffertium vicarium complex. The wings look odd but the pronotum and tergite markings seem to match
(Maccaffertium vicarium / rivulicolum).

Not Maccaffertium

The only Heptageniid of genus Maccaffertium known from Oregon is M. terminatum terminatum, which would not even remotely resemble John's photo. As for Maccaffertiun vicarium, please see it's distribution here.

Moved from Mayflies.

Hi John-

Nice photo. I believe this female subimago to be of family Heptageniidae, and suspect it may be of genus Cinygmula, but for now, will place it at family level in the guide.
