Long-Legged Fly? - Condylostylus - female

Long-Legged Fly? - Condylostylus - Female
Ascension Parish, Louisiana, USA
Size: ~6mm
Approximately 30 minutes after I captured the fly, it began laying eggs. It was very cooperative for the last few shots. When I replaced the cover on the container and I moved it, I found the reason it was being so cooperative. It expired while it was laying the eggs.

Feel free to frass any images that are deemed unnecessary for ID or are a waste of server space.

Thanks
