Melolonthinae? - Serica sericea

Melolonthinae? - Serica sericea
Block Island, Washington County, Rhode Island, USA
May 30, 2015
One of a dozen or two found washed up alive on the beach. None yesterday so perhaps these just emerged.

Serica sericea (Illiger)
Moved from Serica. Tentatively ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Aaron.

This is a female, so its difficult to be 100% sure, but this is most likely S. sericea.

Serica sp.
Moved from Beetles.
