Found on dead grass stem in grassy area. And flew to blade of fresh grass.

Actually, may be best to keep eastern specimens only at genus at this point since Smith (in Krombein, 1979)(1) only includes C. pygmaeus this far east.

Any yellow in the pterostigma and extensively yellow femora should exclude C. pygmaeus (esp. photo #2) using Middlekauff's key.
