ichneumon - Enicospilus purgatus

ichneumon - Enicospilus purgatus
austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
May 6, 2007
Size: roughly 1"
I think this is a male ichneumon. If it were female, I would expect to see an ovipositor.

I have no way of proving it, but I am pretty sure this same wasp has been hanging out at my porch light every night for some time.
