Creosote Bush Katydid - Golden - Insara covilleae - Male

Size: 17mm
These are close up images of a male Creosote Bush Katydid, Insara covilleae. These Katydids can come in a few different shades of green and yellow. I filmed a short video of him, after he came to the light and somehow got stuck on my pants.
His body measures 17mm, head to claspers and 28mm total, with the wings folded. The antennae are about 25mm long. I'm including five of the best shots of him.
