Green Beetle?

Green Beetle?
Pointe Claire, Quebec, Canada
May 6, 2007
Size: 7 - 8 mm
I don't recall seeing one of these before, and have no idea what I am looking at. Photo is sadly grainy.

Frassed
Moved from Banasa dimidiata.

no
its not a beatle ... its a bug...

Beetle or Bug?
If it has a straight line down its back, it's a beetle. If more of an X - like this one - it's a bug.

Stink Bug
looks like something in the genus Banasa.

dimiata
Banasa dimiata is my guess

Banasa dimiata
i second that

Does anyone know what the other spp. look like?
There are supposed to be 11 and we only have two represented so far. I agree, of the two we've got this would have to be B. dimiata.

thanks
Thanks to all!
