Cephaloon
Definitely a Cephaloon - looks to be a male, but I would not hazard a guess as to species without a closer look. From the literature I have at hand, yes, it does look to be a provincial record for the genus.

thanks, Dan

cool... this genus has not yet been recorded in YT, apparently

Only collected ones count as official records, right?
Since this is my 2nd Cephaloon here it is likely I'll find another one at some point. So, my stupid question is, how to collect? Have never done any. How to kill, handle, store (or whatever the correct term is), and finally send to someone?
