Dragonfly with transparent body - Libellula semifasciata

Size: 4"
It was sitting on a small bulb at the tip of a stalk growing from a planted vidalia onion. Except for the transparent body, it looks like a whitetail female. Could it be one in an early stage before the body takes on a solid color?
