red-banded leafhopper - Graphocephala coccinea

red-banded leafhopper - Graphocephala coccinea
Albion, Calhoun County, Michigan, USA
June 12, 2015
These leafhoppers showed up in my garden yesterday. I don't remember seeing them so early but I'm fairly sure it is a red-banded leafhopper, but not of the species. Can you help here? Thanks in advance.

Graphocephala coccinea is the only Graphocephala known to have blue stripes instead of green.

Thank you! That really helps
