Green-eyed Wasp Hole - Philanthus

Green-eyed Wasp Hole - Philanthus
Husum, Klickitat County, Washington, USA
June 15, 2015
This Wasp nest was found on a slope beside a trail to the wetland/prairie remnant. I watched it kick dirt, carry out a small root and a pebble. It is an amazing excavator! Thanks for looking.
