Perdita pelargoides - female

Perdita pelargoides - Female
Robert J. Bernard Biological Field Station, Claremont, Los Angeles County, California, USA
June 16, 2015
Size: 4.8 mm
Keyed specimens using Cockerell (1916), and Timberlake (1954). Compared my specimens to type specimens today at MNH-LA, also compared with superficially similar females of P. (Hesperoperdita) trisignata Cockerell, 1896.
Clearly P. pelargoides with the very long glossa plus some other characters.
Specimen photos of both sexes will follow soon.
