Lep captured at jujube flowers - Neoalbertia constans - male

Lep captured at jujube flowers - Neoalbertia constans - Male
Alcalde, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, USA
July 9, 2013
Size: Approx. 25 mm (wingspan)
Captured feeding at jujube flowers (at approx. 9.35 am) as part of a study on jujube pollination. Apologies for the rather poor specimen, but hoping for a genus name if possible. Many thanks.

Moved to N. constans
Moved from Leaf Skeletonizer Moths.

Tentative ID. This is not Neofelderia rata (Edwards, 1882) which has a black head, black thorax, and black along coastal margin. There are two examples in BugGuide for that species as well as a link to BOLD images.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. Neoalbertia constans looks similar. Neofelderia rata may be another possibility. Leaving it here at the family-level for expert attention.
