... it had a rather disorganized web. Does this fit this id?

 
They make organized webs ...
however if it was disorganized it may mean her web was damaged, the web you saw wasn't hers or she's ill and not functioning properly (she looks emaciated/dehydrated maybe she just laid eggs).
