Other Common Names
Sunflower Longhorn Bee, but this name creates confusion with other principle sunflower bees in subgenus Eumelissodes, such as Melissodes agilis, and also with species with sunflower-associated specific epithets such as Tetraloniella (Tetraloniella) helianthorum. Oblique Longhorn Bee may be a viable replacement.
