not even sure where to start with this one. The head didnt look ver wasp like to me but I've been wrong enough to not be sure........

I knew there was a good chance I was on the wrong track. I don't have any formal training so I am trying to teach myself. i thought this was a beautifull insect that didnt really look like anything I was used to. I appreciate the help that i have gotten here.
