Tytthus? - Microtechnites bractatus

Tytthus? - Microtechnites bractatus
Bering Ditch, Harris County, Texas, USA
June 28, 2014
Size: 2 mm
I think it's Tytthus or something near, but confirmation and species ID, if possible, would be welcome.

Lots of dark, 2-mm mirids with dark hind femora were on morning glory and other plants in this disturbed area. This is the one I caught.

[edit: very good match for male Microtechnites bractatus, but waiting for confirmation]

Moved
Moved from Plant Bugs.

Reminds me of a male Garden Fleahopper

If confirmed (please wait for an expert determination) it would be BG's first specimen from Texas.
