Mantispidae larva on Phidippus jumping spider

Mantispidae larva on Phidippus jumping spider
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
November 11, 2013
This larva found on the neck of a Phidippus jumping spider on our garage was identified by Jeff Gruber. See #1054539. He suggested I submit this photo in Mantispidae. This is an enlarged detail of the larvae, taken inside the garage on the window sill at elevation ~ 6400' in the foothills.
On two separate occasions many years ago we photographed two mantispid. Interestingly, both were found on the garage apron. I am submitting images of these two mantispids. Most probably they are the adult form of this larva.

Moved from Mantidflies.

It's hard to rule out all of the young wasps and flies in this image, but Jeff is probably correct.
