Very tiny and seemed to have a hard covering, like a lady bug.

...as close to "just the bug" as possible.
Only you and the editors have the ability to "zoom in" and see the full-size image. Everyone else is left looking at a tiny bug in a lot of unnecessary background.
You can click on "edit" and simply upload cropped versions. They will replace the current pics.
