Alpine Grasshopper - Prumnacris rainierensis - Female
Paradise, Mt Rainier National Park, Pierce County, Washington, USA
June 29, 2015
Size: ~15mm

female nymph
of something in the subfamily Melanoplinae. This one will mature with short wings. I'll try and narrow down the possibilities and see if I can figure out what species she is for sure, but I think Prumnacris rainierensis is a fair bet.
