Boghaunters Ready to Mate - Williamsonia lintneri - Male Female
Assabet River NWR, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
May 12, 2007
Tons of these guys out today. When these two first came together, there was a pretty loud crash and what looked like a struggle. I was expecting to see someone having a boghaunter lunch, but after sitting like this for a few seconds, they flew off and got into a wheel (unfortunately behind too much grass to get a shot off).
