Thanks, Ross. I looked at the E. perplexa page you linked, and it could be that species, but I'm not sure. In my lateral photo, just the dorsal part of the abdominal segments is brown, and that page makes it sound like the segments are entirely brown. Also, the wings in my lateral photo seem to be markedly darkened rather than slightly shady, although it's hard to tell with the wings closed.

I wonder if this might be E. perplexa, which was introduced into Texas and Florida back in the 70's to control the citrus blackfly. The description mentions that the third through sixth abdominal segments are dark brown in females. See here.
