Longhorn Beetle - Brothylus gemmulatus - Male
Palomar Mountain, San Diego County, California, USA
May 28, 2003
Size: body length 22 mm
These longhorn beetles seem to be pretty common in the mixed deciduous and coniferous forest near the top of Palomar Mountain in late May. This one came to a blacklight. The female would have shorter antennae.
