phorid fly - Phalacrotophora longifrons - female

phorid fly - Phalacrotophora longifrons - Female
North Bethesda, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA
July 1, 2015
This looks like the guide’s photos of Phalacrotophora longifrons. The shape of the head looks wrong for Apocephalus and the other phorids I've looked at in the guide. However, I can’t find much in the way of useful information about Phalacrotophora and am hoping that someone with more expertise can confirm or correct this ID.

Thanks in advance

yes, P. longifrons. The dark stripe on the pleuron is distinctive.
