Cicada - New Mexico - Hadoa inaudita - Male
Carlsbad National Park, Eddy County, New Mexico, USA
July 2, 2015
Size: 2.5cm BL
Not good with any of the Western cicada species! This individual was found calling from a low tree within Carlsbad National Park, just about 100 feet from the cavern entrance. The song heavily reminds me of T. auriferus, T. inauditus and T. texanus. I would like some other thoughts.
