Found under bright work lights on an oil lease at 10 PM along with several thousand Dytiscids.

Nice find, Mark! We have the similar Prionus imbricornis here. Two showed up at my door a couple weeks ago.

Prionus fissicornis...
as suggested by the number of antennal segments, around 30. This is a male.

Just consulted the Beetles of Canada Checklist.
P fissicornis is listed as being found in Ontario only..
mind you that publication is several decades old now...

This species is found in...
Eastern Montana and in North Dakota, just across the US border.
