Found under bright work lights on an oil lease at 10 PM along with several thousand Dytiscids.

July 1st, 2015 after a heavy rainstorm

Prionus fissicornis...
as suggested by the number of antennal segments, around 30. This is a male.

P fissicornis is listed as being found in Ontario only..
mind you that publication is several decades old now...

 
This species is found in...
Eastern Montana and in North Dakota, just across the US border.
