Haven't seen a Monarch in 6 years & this one showed up in my yard, landing 2 feet away from me the day before my chrysalis hatched!

Image data shows July 4 as date taken
which is consistent with emerges of separate Monarch on 5th

Yep. This one was on July 4th! I had trouble getting separate dates on the other Monarch & its chrysalis & got really confused! Thanks for edit!
