Eggs of Crape Myrtle Bark Scale (Eriococcus lagerstroemiae) - Acanthococcus lagerstroemiae
Shreveport, Louisiana, USA
The eggs are 0.2 to 0.4 mm (0.008 to 0.016 inch) long, 0.1 to 0.2 mm (0.004 to 0.008 inch) wide (n=20), pink and surrounded with white filaments. Eggs are laid inside the white covering secreted by the female.
