Vibrating bee - Osmia

This good-sized bee would arrive at the flower and vibrate across it - hardly ever stopping. I've never seen that behavior before. Then another one arrived, a little smaller (maybe male and female), and did the same thing. They reminded me of leaf-cutter bees in appearance.
