slowly walked on to my finger - Amblycorypha - Male
Elks Pen Tuxedo , Orange County, New York, USA
July 9, 2015
Size: 15-18 mm
This large specimen calmly walked onto my gently offered finger and posed for pictures. Did it run off from a circus act? This seems like unusual behavior for what i think is one of the Tettigoniidae.

After release, it just calmly walked into the underbrush. Does anyone know this individual?
