Found over a several day period, on a grouping of Helianthus maximiliani I had planted in my garden reaching about 6 feet in height. There were no blooms present. Near the terminal part of each plant I found a great variety of wasps. I figured the plants must be producing something that attracted so many insects. We are located in an arid area of juniper, sage, rabbit brush and lava rock with few dwellings at about 2750 feet. I took pictures and plan to submit many of them. Many of these insects I had not seen in my garden before
