Size: about 2mm
Several found running along the ground and in pine needles. Nearby trees include introduced Pinus, Quercus agrifolia, and walnut tree.

This one could be...
Lachesilla tectorum but it is far from the recorded range. I think I can see the cubital loop on the forewing. If I'm wrong about that, then this might be Ectopsocus vachoni. I'd like confirmation from Dr. Mockford.

 
There is definitely a loop in there
But whether it supports Lachesilla tectorum I don't know.
