These are images of a Bee Fly, that I believe is an Exoprosopa divisa. I tried to get some good wing and body shots and also a face shot.

ID info
The dark "T" shape on the center of the abdomen and the many small, bisected windows, in the paintings of the wings, seem to be reliable and distinctive features, that appear to be unique to this species.
All of the images presently on the BugGuide seem to be female, but I'm not sure about that yet. Based on Hartmut's image (below) and the large size and eye shapes, I'm guessing that my image is also a female:

btw, it's better not to repeat the same remarks under every image of the series; those that apply to all the pics belong with the original image, and you can put additional remarks regarding a specific image elsewhere as appropriate
