Amazingly this is the only missing Shadowdragon in the guide. It is the only one I find in my state. And this is the first adult male I have ever seen. Females much easier to find. This one flushed and perched up under this rock eve. I did not touch him.

Shadowdragons are the coolest! We are still missing two, actually: Smoky and Alabama. Dunkle calls Alabama "one of the world's most elusive dragonflies." It would be a real feather in our cap to have a photo on here.
