two-horned treehopper - Stictocephala diceros

two-horned treehopper - Stictocephala diceros
Albion, Calhoun County, Michigan, USA
September 17, 2014
This two-horned treehopper was on my hibiscus in September 2014. I notice that it is in some places called
Ceresa diceros and sometimes C. albescens . It was such a thrill to find one - I'd read about them as a kid. Can you straighten out the nomenclature and on the side, can you tell me how to sex one of these? By the way, looking under Data, it seems that one of these hasn't been recorded in Michigan yet, maybe related to the mixed nomenclatures.
