WHO'S THE PREDATOR? - Dipogon

WHO'S THE PREDATOR? - Dipogon
Chatham, Cape Cod County, Massachusetts, USA
July 12, 2015
The winged insect was actually dragging the spider around. At first I thought it was a winged ant. But that's not right, is it?

Moved from ID Request.

The prey
is a Platycryptus undatus and is suspect that is one of the spider wasps.

I didn't know 'spider wasps' existed.

Dipogon sp.

Thanks Eric!
It's great to get him situated :)
