Size: 4-6mm
It has been brought to my attention that this spider has not been documented in Nebraska until now. I have searched and searched and the consensus is this: there are no data points for Araneus pegnia in my state.

I am not submitting this spider for an ID, as I already know what it is, I just would like to contribute to your database here as I have apparently made the first recorded discovery of this species in Nebraska.

I have submitted the best photos I could find I had of this beautiful little creature.
