Moved from Cononotus.

Cononotus bryanti Van Dyke
This looks to be Cononotus bryanti Van Dyke, in the enigmatic Cononotinae of (?) Pyrochroidae. GET (and preserve) LARVAE for me!

Cute beetle - imagine that!

thank you!
I'll look out for larvae, any tips to finding them?

very nice!
one of those groups that bounce between foster families

Moved from Beetles.

I'll see if I can get Aaron Smith to ID to species, thanks v!

i e-mailed Dan Young
but asking Aaron was a good idea, too
please remind him to sort out BG's asidines --and maybe other scary large teneb groups

thanks
I'll remind Aaron when I see him, he's been really busy this summer though so it might be a while till I get a hold of him

thanks
