I thought these little globular springtails had a little different pattern, and am glad you are around to identify them. Photographing them is a pleasure, since they don't move too fast or jump too often. Now to get them a little bigger:-)

Katiannina macgillivrayi
A very nice pigmented species of the family Katiannidae. The genus Katiannina is easily recognised by the 2 distinct bilateral papillae on abdominal segment 5 (this is in Katiannina the last segment of the large abdomen), and ofcourse the red eye patches. The papillae bear a strong sensillar setae. The papillae are distinctly visible in the picture, but the sensilla are not resolved.
It is really an 'elegant' species ;-)
